Keziah,The dark humor is thus (Missy missed it): Third place is bummed because he sees first and second celebrating and he's like, second loser. Then he sees all the runners-up celebrating, so now everybody but him is equally celebrating as are first and second, so that nullifies any glory that first and second can claim. Everybody's a winner so everybody is a loser. Ha-ha.
