"Hi everyone! basically what the title says. im 17 years old, still in high school, and working 40+ hours a week. i just put in my letter of resignation (NOT my two weeks) and my boss spammed called me saying that i wasn’t allowed to quit and if i do i’ll never be allowed to work at another insert fast food place here again. im so pissed"

I keep trying to explain this to an 84 year old after he spouted the "nobody want's to work" propoganda. It's not that they don't want to work... it's that they are tired of being abused, financially, ethically, spiritually, etc.

To be honest, the "nobody wants to work" crowd, here in Missouri, according to FB comments, are not old men and women. Most complainers happen to be mid-life right wing wannabe "patriots" and "karens".
