Agreed. Incredibly dangerous and impractical to boot. At the very least use jerrycans. I don't really see the "panic created by social networks" comment though... It's not a fictitious panic. Prices are high and we all know why and that it has nothing to do with social media.
Social media is powerful to some people and they panic and do stupid stuff like putting gas into bags. If YOU think you know why prices are high... why don't you share with the class since economists, policy makers, stocks, and regular citizens all seem to disagree.
