Quillie, I did something like that once. Can't recall the forum (it was a few years back) but they were discussing technology development. I found a "nonsensical jargon generator" online and had it generate some text. I edited it a bit and uploaded it. It was total cr#p but it sounded meaningful - I couldn't believe how many people gave it a thumbs up and responded in agreement - it was so funny.

Rudolphus,

I remember that generator. Very funny! wasn't it the BOFH tool?

#16 If you're a man or boy who ever came off the seat and landed on the higher bar on guy's bikes you'll wish your bike had that lower bar.

Not true. The lack of pressure outside the body would cause immediate and gory death. Pressure suits are absolutely required for pilots at altitudes above 60,000 ft.

Norbert,
Yes, they did. This is while they were snowboarding the 9 miles home from school, a trip that was somehow uphill in both directions.

"TIL Keeping cats on ships has been a long held seafaring tradition due to their efficiency as a form of pest control and the supposed luck they brought to vessels. It is thought that cats were spread around the world by groups such as the Ancient Egyptians, Vikings, and Age of Discovery explorers."
