#16 I actually had this haircut in high school in '93-'94. My hair was down to my chin. The idea of putting it in a bun never once crossed my mind, though.

Same here mid 90's but mine was mid-back. Too thick so I shaved underneath. Sadly I wore man bun and full bun all the time. It was not a good look then either. Also the flannel tied around the waist.
