#3 I always felt sad about that picture and caption. Is the UK really that messed up that getting treatment is a question of your wallets size? I thought that would be an USA-thing tbh.

Keziah, I'm guessing there are certain treatments that aren't approved, and you'd have to pay to get them elsewhere. Same thing in Norway. Health care is free, but some treatments (new and/or experimental) are not available. I know people that have raised money to pay for such treatments abroad themselves.

yes it is. people hear the word free!! and love it. but they don't read the fine print from the gatekeepers of actual treatment, which is none or long lines or very poor.
