So many of these just reinforce the stereotype "guys can't cook". My dad made sure I knew how since his dad was completely useless in the kitchen and would probably starve without restaurants or someone to cook for him. He swore that would never be him.

Cooking is easy enough for anyone if you just take a bit of effort and time for it and let go of the nonsensical idea that only women should cook and therefore you're not a real man if they can.
Hell, most professional chefs are men and the ones I met you wouldn't dare saying that to them face to face.
Especially easy these days. Just open YouTube cooking tutorial and repeat. I recommend Sam the cooking guy.
