Late one night while traveling decided to find a hotel. Checked in and lost the keycard for a few minutes when it dropped out jn the car. Finally got into the room and the beds were very hard and the pillows were literally couch cushions in pillow cases. Had to argue for a refund becaus the desk jockey said their policy was no refunds aftr 10 min. 10 min! We hadn't even seen the room in that time

"This polish hotel's picture on trivago vs in real life"

"A few years ago I was staying at a hotel on the Las Vegas strip and they had construction going on. Construction-related faulty wiring or something kept causing the alarm to go off (false alarm) and periodically a recorded voice would say there was some kind of incident, and to stay in your room until otherwise notified. All. Night. Long."
