i started stripping the paint off a builtin cedar china in my house, when i pulled out the bottom linen draw (which was also made of cedar) i found a "Boston Daily Globe" news paper from the morning of April 16th 1912, the headline was "Titanic Sinks, 1,500 Die" it was in perfect condition, old but still able to open up and read the whole paper, the only reason i can think of why it was in such good shape was because the cedar kept insects and mice away
I have found a grounded Bf109 Messerschmitt in a swamp near my gramps farm. It is still there, engine, controls all of it. Just the propeller is quite bended. :)
