Ben, #7 is pure BS. That was the UK a few years ago. Lived here all my life and I've never heard of this. On the other hand we have a prime minister who flies all over the country pretending he's important, but the majority of Canadians hate his guts.

plastic bags are easier to recycle because they are made from one material and paper carton are lined with aluminium and plastic. they look better but are almost impossible to recycle

In my area in the US plastic bags aren't recycleable. however we use plastic bottles that are.
