Socrates,
To a degree, you're right. If the powers to be want you to conserve, then they should make it easier to do so.

#15 Haha! What?
How many plants does the author have and how infrequent do they shower?!

Tim,

Depends on the variety and what you want the finished texture to be. If you wash it it removes startches so the rice is fluffy. If you don't it'll be more sticky or clumpy. If you are adding it into a dish you may not want the extra startch.

#19 is backwards - hang clothes out until 95% dry and then put in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff them up and knock the dust/lint off.

most of these are bs and don't save hardly anything. like an electric lighter? lol
saving shower water? you're supposed to run it down the pipes or you'll get your fancy soap stuck, plus it recycles anyway.

#10, so instead of composting the bread which is not wasting it, you waste gas / electricity to revive it?

This Iis NOT a list of planet saving stuff. Its how not to be a disgraceful and wasteful person. I guess since middle class people are getting poorer, they actually have to think about this stuff.
