#2 and #4 - take away their man card (assuming they had one to begin with). Seriously guys, don’t ever do this. Children need a masculine father, not an effeminate girly boy. You cause mental issues when you mix feminine behavior in what is supposed to be masculine fathering.

Val,

A real man doesn't care what idiots, that can't even get a date, like you (and that whine about nonexistent "man cards") think they should do.
A real man does what is best to make his children happy.
And a real man is not so insecure that their self image is shattered by doing something cute for their kids.
They should take away your human card ... if you even got issued one that is.

Val,

You realize that you can instill the idea of hard work and "masculine" values in your children without being a dictator. Children react to your actions, not how you look or often even what you say. It's how you make them feel. You can make them feel loved with kindness and also show them how to be confident in themselves and who they are. How to live the right way and be responsible through your so called "masculine" fathering.

In my situation what should I do? Mom's not around. Should I teach my daughter to be "masculine"?

Val,

How do you say "I have super sensitive masculinity that can be shattered by being a good father" without saying it? You nailed it. You are why people have daddy issues. You deserve no respect (sorry if that breaks your mascline ego).
