Totally disagree. Some of the CGI has not held up but I think Peter Jackson did an amazing job with the movies. The Hobbit trilogy was a little bloated but the original movies are classics.

Is it based on the Simarilion? LOTR was ok but the Hobbit-Movies where weird if you read the book imho
