Anyway- #12. That's nothing. Every pair of sneakers I buy, the glue lets go and the sole comes loose from the upper before the sole even shows any wear. Usually in about 3 months.
#7, handset cord is MODULAR ... either the person is misinformed about the age of the phone, or it was at some point updated (I don't think the phone co. did that)
Yep. That's a 1960s phone. That looks like the Western Electric model 500 which debuted in 1950. I believe the modular handset cord didn't appear until the mid 1960s.
"My great-grandpa's rotary phone from the 1940s. It has a crack because he threw it at a parts salesman that pissed him off. It still works and is in use at the shop to this day."
