During high school, whenever they gave us those "career aptitude tests" to see what job we'd be "good" at, I always tried to steer it towards Park Ranger. Yeah, even though as a city kid I've never gone camping or been to an area with enough trees to be called a woods, let alone a forest. But that's what I felt like I wanted to do. It all came to an end when finally, one of the teachers gave us a list of average salaries for various careers. A Park Ranger's pay was sh#t.

Bridget, yes, $15 - $20 and hour on average. I agree though, it would be a good job - stress free and always in the fresh air.

Arizona, not too sure about the stress free - I think the rangers in Yellowstone have been pretty wound up.
