We have a '48 GM Frigidaire at our summer camp, it still runs. My grandfather bought it used in the 1960's.

Adela, you're 100% correct, but this one does have a certain novelty to it; there's something about old stuff that just keeps on working, while new stuff made today breaks down shortly.

My neighbors have a light bulb that is well over 100 years old and still works. Would a new bulb provide better light and consume less power? Sure. Would it be as cool? Never. :-)

I also have a 2002 Ford Ranger with 4L engine. It's the only vehicle I've owned and driven for 20 years and I'm still not looking for anything to replace it.
