#11 - impressive ship but Columbus went 4000 miles / 6400 km + across the Atlantic in his much smaller ship whereas He hugged the coastline of China and India. They were two very different kinds of explorers.

Most of the Pacific Islands' languages have some seemingly similar words to some in the Chinese dialects.
That indicates that either the Chinese visited those many islands or the Pacific people originally came from the Asian mainland.
