Lyddy, if you work in a toothpaste factory and the toothpaste tube cutter isn’t working then you’ll know precisely where to cut the tube.

Tips on how to use things properly are not "life hacks." That's one of many words/phrases that've been used so much they've lost all meaning.
#2 Who even uses rubber gloves anymore? Are we in the 50's?
#4 Does anyone actually have a piece of aluminum foil laying around just to cut with your scissors, or do you just buy a new pair like everyone else?

Come on, man. These things are dumb...

Mortimer,

Who buys new scissors instead of sharpening? Like buying a new knife instead of sharpening.

#2 The rotation of the hand should be opposed to the direction of the fingers. Just like the tool used to unscrew the oil filter.

In other words, in order to open a bottle, keep the lid with your left hand and the bottle with the right hand, and switch hands to close it.

Blue bristles on toothbrushes tell you when to get a new one.

Here’s how to know if your toothbrush needs a replacement. Take a look at the blue-colored bristles on a toothbrush — when the color fades because of use, it means you need a new one.
