Midge,
Wait until you find out that everybody laughs at you and that nobody cares what you think about anything unless they're infatuated with the ramblings of trolls.

Midge,

It may not effect the climate directly, but it obviously affects the environment.
Funnily enough dumping trash everywhere IS bad for a lot of reasons not in the least for us. Our drinking water comes in part from ground water. Pollution can affect plants and pollutants, for example microplastics can, and already does, find it's way in animals and fish.

Now you may enjoy getting all kinds of cr#p in your body from the water we drink and the plants and animals we eat but most of don't.

But besides all of that did you seriously react on a comment about horse diving JUST to whine about a cleanup? And are you SERIOUSLY criticizing that a load of trash was cleaned up at all??
You need a hobby. I hear stamp collecting is nice.

Cintha,

Looks like there is a cable anchored on the ground running up the building and attached to the top of the bus.

Delius, No, it's indoors. Cats should be outdoors - coyotes need to eat, too.

#23 that is nice to have gotten done, but it probably is already back littered and trashed because you removed the symptom, not the cause.

Penelope,

That's about the only climate action that actually works. Cleaning up after ourselves is worthwhile. Trying to control the weather is foolish.

Ivan, the couse of the problem is plastic. Get rid of it, get rid of plastic pollution.

Nat,

So you're only against plastic pollution? You don't mind people throwing paper, metal, glass, and other materials all over the ground?

Ivan,
paper disolves, metal and glass are no problem (although it's wastefull to throw them away) but plasics disolves into microplastic polluting our food chain.

Penelope,

If no one ever gives the right example and takes action things will never change. Plus, if there is a load of trash somewhere the threshold to throw something too is very low.
But if all is clean people will be a more hesitant.
And seeing how it can look may change people's mind to stop being a litterbug.
