Most cowards like Tilly are terrified of having to defend themselves. So they naively believe that banning guns will somehow disarm criminals and evil people.
If I learned anything from ALL the mass shootings, it is that assault style weapons should be banned again. One of these massacres occurred near where I live. Some disgruntled young asshole went into a church full of people and emptied 15 - 30 round clips in 5 minutes. It's not mental illness or video games (all countries have those things), it's the easy access to battlefield weapons that only the military and police should have access to that enable many of these massacres. Want to protect your family? A pistol or shotgun will do nicely.
Hey dip, I have a semi-auto 12ga, 12 round DRUM FED shotgun. It'll make my AR look like a bb gun. I have a Glock with 19+1 rounds. And countless magazines for it. My mini12 is the exact same gun as my ar-15, but is wood. You are an idiot.
So I am a "dip" and an "idiot" just because I have a different opinion than you? I didn't disparage you or anyone else. I respect the 2nd amendment in the US constitution. I just believe it's wrong that folks like you conveniently ignore the first 4 words of that amendment, ya know... "A well regulated militia".
Trained infantry of yore could fire 3 rounds per minute with a muzzle loading musket. 3x5 = 15 rounds. You are afraid of an inanimate object rather than the person wielding it.
Having the same weapons as the military is the entire point of the 2nd Amendment.
What makes you think criminals will go along with any weapon bans? Murder is illegal - but that doesn't stop them. You think some silly "assault weapon" ban will stop them?
The risk of a person in the U.S. dying in a mass shooting was 70% lower during the period in which the assault weapons ban was active. The proportion of overall gun homicides resulting from mass shootings was also down, with nine fewer mass-shooting-related fatalities per 10,000 shooting deaths. It helped.
According to FBI data from 2019 (latest available), mass shooting deaths accounted for 0.5% of all homicides. Knives, clubs, hammers, fists and the like accounted for 18% of homicides. If the goal is to reduce murders, you're barking up the wrong tree.

why are you so afraid of guns?

If I learned anything from the Uvalde shooting, it is that the police are not going to protect us.

The "assault weapon" ban was allowed to expire because it had "no appreciable effect".

oh sorry he killed us
#41 Can't be here in the good, old U.S.A. Neighbors would just shoot you instead.
