Most of these are pointless nit picking. It's not a documentary show.

Well, yes and no. It's mostly things few would notice or know like the year a vending machine came into use, but too many continuation mistakes do get seen. At one point they would be distracting, at least for me.
Especially if it's about things like constantly changing in either wet and dry clothes in a scene.

Most movies and shows avoid these continuation errors by simply having someone take a few pics after a scene and keep track of it.
Not really too much trouble I'd think. They spend enough on detail to make it look like the 80's.
Why not spend a little more and make it all look right?

In season 4, the main characters spend a day full of mixed feelings, but Will is the one who suffers the most. There’s this one scene that’s taking place on March 22, and if you recall from season 2, that’s Will’s birthday. Yet no one remembered! Even the producers of the series said that they totally missed it.
