Yeah see that's not even funny, "Buy an electric car, they cost less to run than a gas car. Just do the math...". Look I can barely afford a 5 year old used gas car, I definitely can't afford a new electric plus a place to charge it.

I think they probably saw the sarcasm (saying it's not funny clued me in), but maybe you haven't seen all the people (and government officials) pushing electric cars without offering anything on how to actually pay for them or the infrastructure that would support them...
