Roberta,

Yes. But Fie probably saw too many action movies and thinks he can just disarm an attacker by doing that one YouTube self defence vid he saw.
Or, like many gun advocates thinks if he just shows the gun, any attacker will piss himself and give up while in reality, people can just as easily react faster than you and kill you. Not exactly a chance worth the few bucks in your wallet

But in this was he can think delude himself thinking he's the hero he can never be in real life.

in Germany was a girl sued by a supermarket chain, because she took food out of the dust bin.
They rather throw it it away because the date is expired or even just because tomorrow arrives another truck with new food.

Mima,

Yes to the law for edible yet past expire date. Once it is in the bin it is no longer food but trash. If someone got sick from the "expired" food taken from the trash, they would sue the supermarket for having "food" where people can get it and not locked away.

Cy,

Well, north everyone has that long to travel. And you can still use a bike when going to the store. Or get a few groceries to a nearby shop. And it's not exactly always raining.... You obviously never was meant to take it that literally. And you knew that.

Cy,

Obviously the main issue here is not the cheaper part... And how exactly is has your point anything to do with the rest? If it's about money alone, you'd still save on gas, maintenance, parts, etc.

Josephine,

You either don't know what hypocrisy is or you actually believe everyone that recycles is somehow also throwing motoroil down the drain or something?
Instead of vague insinuating, try explaining why it's BS and hypothetical. If you even have a real reason obviously...
