Quentin Tarantino became a huge fan of CSI after watching the show during breaks while filming Kill Bill.

When CSI producers learned he was a fan, they offered to let Tarantino direct an episode. He ended up directing an episode called “Grave Danger,” which was the Season 5 finale.

Critics called the episode the one of the series most intense and horror-filled CSI episodes ever.
