#6 The store was named Bonavox, which means "good voice" in latin. His fellow Irish gang members started calling him Bono Vox, and it stuck.

#8 He was in an early band called "AXL." He was so obsessed with the band that his friend said he should start calling himself Axl. The anagram thing is totally a coincidence.

Metallica wanted to call their first album "Metal Up Your @$$" but the producers wouldn't let them. They instead called it "Kill 'em All" in reference to said producers.
