More work you say? More pay, I say, or no deal. If you don't like it, I can quit. You'll have to hire some younger, entitled @$$hat with no work ethic, who won't show up on time, won't know how to do the job as well as me, and won't care enough to learn.
You might pay them less than me, but you'll have to end up either taking the workload on yourself or hiring another young prick, and you'll end up paying them both together more than you would if you'd just given me a raise.

#14 OMG... that literally happened to me once! Got hired, told training was "in the field", met my supervisor once in three months the week they gave me my job maual and probation, then fired for "bad hair and insubordination" I'm a SuPEr people pleaser with strong work ethics... how could I ever be insubordinate?
