Tolkien paid very little attention to describing any details of the appearances of characters. The Balrog, for example, was only described as a menacing creature shrouded in fire, darkness and shadow. That's it. Some characters, like Tom Bombadil and Gandalf were described in a little more detail, and to that effect, #1 is so far off as to be offensive. Really, all of these are terrible. Why the heck does Frodo have face tattoos?? This "artist" s#cks.
Gimli is a Dwarf of the House of Durin and a member of the Fellowship of the Ring. He is a dwarf warrior, the son of Glóin, who fought alongside Elves in the War of the Ring against Sauron at the end of the Third Age.
