If by 'us" you mean America, I think you'll find that most of the world is significantly ahead of you when it comes to life quality. I'm in Australia and we have free healthcare, 4 weeks paid leave a year, very little (by comparison) crime, decent coffee, no Jimmy Fallon etc.

Bernard, you had me saying so what, things are damn expensive over there. That is until you mentioned no Jimmy Fallon and I realized yes, you do have a better quality of life.
