Electrocuted myself "fixing" a stereo speaker. We had an old Bose stereo older than me (it was from sometime in the 70's) and one of the speakers kept cutting out. Super genius that I was I decided it must have been a loose wire. With the stereo on I reached behind the receiver and started jiggling the wires to find the problem. Didn't find the loose speaker wire but I did discover that the power wire was partially exposed. Actually felt the voltage go in one hand and out my opposite foot, had to sit down for a while after that one...
Yikes. I was installing an AC unit outside an apartment building once and was too lazy/cocky to put on my gloves. I got the full 240 volts. I did not like that at all.
I have more than a few, but once I tried to hop up on a workbench that was attached to a wall. It wasn't strong enough, and broke. On the way down, one of the wood screws sticking out caught my arm just below the elbow and shredded my arm all the way up to my shoulder. It wasn't deep enough for stitches, and now I've had a 15-inch gnarly looking scar on my arm with a very stupid story attached to it ever since.
