At the 1939 Academy Awards, Shirley Temple presented Walt Disney with an honorary Oscar for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was the first traditionally animated feature film. Keeping in the theme of the movie, the award was comprised of one normal-size Oscar, with seven mini statuettes to represent the dwarves. This was Walt Disney's second honorary Oscar.
