#29, It's the ceramic support plate for the 200 inch Hale telescope mirror that is operating to this day at the Mt. Palomar Observatory in California. The telescope is run by Cal-Tech. Search 'Hale Telescope' for more information.
“Found this at work today, left by the overnight employee. It’s solid all around. No openings at all. Hollow glass, gold trim on one end.”
