I once found my suitcase (the soft/fabric type) on the luggage conveyor belt covered in vomit. A few other suitcases also had some vomit on them, but mine seemed to be the epicenter of whatever had happened (My guess: one of the luggage handlers shouldn't have been on duty that day). I left the airport with a brand new suitcase paid by the airline.
