"Over 2,000 Pounds Of Fresh Pork Being Rejected By The Walmart Distribution Center Because The Sell By Dates Occur When Their Stores Are Closed For Thanksgiving"
"This product will still be safe to eat for the next 15 days but they won't even attempt to sell it. This will end up in a dumpster today."
then the problem may just be the culture of sueing_
"sueing"
aww you mad at the Walmart wasting food? go talk to the Walton family who doesn't give a crap about one load and helps makes prices low enough so you can afford things like that cheap phone
.and the shop wouldnt have to pay him and could lower prices for you
Pretty sure it could have been frozen in order to preserve it, and then donated to zoos, animal shelters, and sanctuaries. Good PR for the company, too.
#18, I don't believe they can legally sell it past the date on the package.
#23, when I see a collection of carts like that the typical reason is that there's no cart corral in the area. I frequently stop at a nearby grocery where the main part of the lot has corrals but one area doesn't--you almost never see stray carts in the main area but you see them all the time in the area without a corral.
