Bikes get stolen, exposure to the elements, can cause major health problems and bills. very slow. cant normally be used for commuting, cant bring friends, lack of storage. etc

Because cars never get stolen... And that "energy you save" goes in your @$$ and stays there. Using a bike prevents major health problems because exercise. And causes bills? Wut? How is a bike more expensive than a car in upkeep? Etc, etc.

Depends on what more factors that you want to see in the world.
I commute 16 miles daily. By car it is 90 minutes, by cycling it is 40 minutes and 10 minutes in the shower. Adds health and it is cheaper than community transfer. It is faster.
Yes it gets destroyed and stolen sometimes. That's why it is a pro when a workplace gives you parking spaces for bicycles. It is so basic today.
In the city it is easier to go with a bike than go in walking pace while there is traffic jam which is everywhere.
If you would open up your eyes and not just look at your preconceptions, your life would be more pleasant. In most of your comments there is that narrow-minded attitude thst is driven by your traumas.
