I feel curious, what a typical School Lunch in South Korea may look like ... Any Ideas?

Upon close scrutiny of all lunches depicted, it's no surprise that virtually ALL the American examples were visually unappealing, loaded with simple carbs, and fundamentally bereft of fruits and vegetables. It's a perfect example of the fascist American Teachers Unions pocketing our tax dollars to the detriment of our children's health by restricting the nutrition needed for healthy activity and growing brains.

They...and their food...make me sick!

But my avatar is sooooo CUTE!

Helena, Let's not completely blame the teachers' unions for what Michelle Obama perpetrated. Yes, there is certainly fraud and misanthropy, but every bureaucrat has their grimy paws in the pot. It wasn't that bad before 2009.

Helena,

You do know fascism and unions are completely opposite in the political spectrum right? Fascist isn't a catch all for "things I don't like."

Mattie,

Fascism and unions are ‘supposed’ to be the opposite. But if you’ve been paying attention to reality, instead of cowering in your safe, Leftist bubble, you’d notice that the CRT obsessed, anti-parent teachers unions are hardcore fascists. It’s not even an opinion. It’s a researchable FACT.

It's simply amazing how all these lunches are absolutely free. Apparently, all the farmers that grow the food, the truckers that transport the food and the cafeteria staff that prepare the food volunteer their labors for free. Oh, and hats off to the power companies that don't charge for the energy needed to do all the above. And a special thanks to the Contractors that built the kitchen where the lunches are prepared and served. What an amazing world we have. Everything is free!

Jessica,
I paid about 26% of my gross income in tax last year (teacher in Swe.). For that I and Everyone around me get "free" healthcare, schooling, security and clean environment that are in top 10 or top 5 in the world, depending on the category and source.

Actual cost per portion was about 2€ last time I asked. While amount municipalities spend on school food varies wildly, it would not be surprising to see either #1 or #2 in any school in Sweden. You can also go for seconds, at least in middle-/high-schools as then students are deemed old enough to fill their own plates.

Ralph, Now if we could get the politicians to properly apply the taxpayer's dollars instead of skimming as much as they can for themselves. The USA's "free" lunches could be vaguely palatable.

Jessica,

Oh no, not only are they educating the children, now they don't even let them starve anymore! Quick, Tucker, get the shotgun! The communists are here!

funny how the german and US ones, the land of the best social system (cough) and the land of the free (cough) have by far the worst meals usually on these lists.
They kinda mostly look like fucking prison food or worse - thats sad on so many ways. And shows how those countires treat their kids and what they're worth - not much regarding on those sad pics.... belay
