Frank, I believe this statistic is related to *dying from the shot after a gun is accidentally discharged*. The chance of you being hit by a bullet from an accidentally discharged gun is something entirely different. So, if you're never around guns you don't have to worry about it. If you are around guns, this is the statistical chance that you're killed if accidentally shot.
