I came here to day the same thing. Like, if it's more concentrated then if you had as much espresso in a cup as you would a normal cup of coffee than there would be a ton more caffeine.

#1 That's not completely right. Usually Espresso is made from a better quality of bean than what's passed off as gourmet coffee by traditional coffee makers and it does contain less caffeine than your steaming cup of Maxwell house. The reason why Espresso tastes much stronger is because the beans are roasted longer and darker not because they contain more caffeine.
