Marguerite, We tend to measure in both imperial and metric. Metric is by far the best and easiest though. Btw, I can speak German and French reasonably well but not as well as native English.

It is always funny how Europeans who brag about being able to speak three or more languages cannot handle two forms of measurement.
we dont brag, we just question how many people are able to handle these measures while not even being able to read in the US.
