Ah yes, home vegetable gardening. The process by which you turn 6+ months of work and $80 worth of supplies into $0.25 worth of vegetables... (the voice of experience here, hot peppers are the only things I've ever been able to grow enough of)

meh. i got smart, watched a lot of videos and did it for the cost of seeds and $5 worth of plant boxes, soil. used stuff around the house and free compost. people are idiots to spend money.
