Look, maybe they stated they fight azov. ""Sure"". And azov is nazi. That part is maybe OK. And the war has nothing to do with the continuous conflict among the two nation that has been there for decades.
They don't fight the war becuase someone burned books. And the war is actually not against the nazis.
I know that you have multiple PhD in warfare and diplomatics and you are a veteran expert. But if not, keep your judgemenet and educate yourself but skip the media, and go back a few decade.

The grain on the top piece is from the outside of the tree where as the bottom piece is closer to the center of the tree. The age of the wood has nothing to do with it.

It might say that one piece of wood grew in colder climatic conditions than the other. The wider the grain grows, the warmer were the conditions it grew in. It yet doesnt tell where it grew. If both pieces grew at the same place it could say something about global warming and its visible effects.

If the wood is the same species, then you are looking at Old Growth (100+) cut near the center where compression occurs over time, versus a New Growth cut of younger trees (6-80 years old) where faster growth comes from human assistance. Plus, are we talking kiln-dried and compressed wood or just raw fresh-cut.

#58 I work in electronics and have a couple of pairs of these. Didn't know that they still made them. If you need magnification AND lighting for close up work, these are better than the lighted magnification hoods that are sold by the tool companies.
