Getting rid of someone because you are brain washed is a gift for the other party.
Cutting off someone who is brainwashed is good for both parties.
Also if you are part of the far right and you call everyone communist who has different views or opinions than you do and you break up with them is a typical cancel culture move from the far right. So it is a "right" move.
