#1 this is wrong. Grass does not have the capacity to pick up the smell, nor could it do anything if it somehow did. What's it going to do, grow around your feet and trap you? Run away?

The smell is the scent of the grass being damaged, like blood smells. And it smells that good because God gave it to us as a gift.
