Buying a game and getting the whole game, with the only accoutrement being the Game Genie. Also, having the game in physical form so you could bring it to a friend's house or trade it.

Old style Jolly Ranchers. I remember the candies looked like see through coloured squares with intense flavour. Now they're ugly and look like halls cough drops.
