Because it's not up to you to tell other people how fast to go, that's why.
If someone goes by you on the right, you're in the wrong lane no matter how fast you're going.

Around here we drive on the righthand side of the road. When we drive on the highways and the like, we are supposed to drive in the righthand lane and use the left lane for passing slower traffic, then move back into the right lane; if there is a string of slower traffic in the right lane we can stay in the left until we pass that cluster before moving back into the right lane.
If vehicles are stopped along the side of the road, we are supposed to move over to give them room to deal with whatever they are dealing with, then we move back over. If emergency vehicles are approaching, we even pull over to the curb/roadside and slow or even stop to let them go by to their emergency.
With just a bit of courtesy and common sense we could all have a better journey.
