people always say geman is a harsh language but if you actually start translating it. it is a silly language because there are a lot of names that are literal descriptions.
a light bulb is a glowpear(glübirne) because it looked like a pear and glowed.
and a plane(Flugzeug) is a flything.
a lighter (feurzeug) firething.
a vehicle (fahrzeug) drivething.
or the fact that the German word for mobile phone is handy and uses English pronunciation.
