I know the movie with the German name "die Vögel" what would translate to "the birds".

I was an adult, but I could never watch Open Water again. I suffered from thalassophobia-by-proxy for a while after that. The fact that it was a true story I think is what did it. Twenty years ago, and I'm wincing even now as I type this.
