Have you gone through the Archive? Go back 5 or 10 years and you will find several of the pictures posted lately.
I guess they are re-posted for people who don't scan through it every day or are new to the site.

I come here often and it's always the same stuff. Fresh content for people like me is still fresh content for new visitors. It's better to keep both the old fans and the new than to appeal only to the new.

yeah makes sense because it's far easier to support the weight of two upright people while swinging on a vine by using your toes
