#6 100% true. This came up in a conversation with my then 13 year old daughter.
Luckly YouTube had end of the day broadcasting clips. She was floored that the TV just "went off" at certain time.

I remember this as well. Also when the evening news was over Mash was on. As soon as the opening theme with the helicopters came on we knew it was bed time.

Yep! I remember sitting in the den waiting the video to premiere. I had the LP and the "The Making of Thriller" on VHS. Directed by John Landis!
