#24 Good Lord, Hocus Pocus is such an awful movie. Doesn't even deserve the 38 percent from critics. I cannot understand the cult status of this movie.
If you take it for what it is, it's fantastic. If you're an overly analytic bunghole who's always trying to find deeper meaning and wokeness in a film, you won't like it ...and you just might be a rotten tomatoes critic.. I f@#ken love it.
Most of these are trash, but there are several great ones. I mean... Jumanji? Really?? Does anyone out there actually care what the critics think, anyway? Every one of them has an agenda, and none of those are legitimate.
Movies are completely subjective. They take months and sometimes years to make and cost millions of dollars. They take up 2 of your hours to watch. Go watch the movie and make up your own mind.
Honestly, I love Ultraviolet. It gets low scores, but if you ignore the overuse of selective blurring, the story is lovely, and Mila does gorgeous acting with a questionable script.

You are obviously not old enough to have seen this when it first came out. The competition in the theaters was all similar or worse.
boondock is overly cheesy. i don't get why old people like it. trying to be edgy?

(the "really" means "how could you NOT like it?")
