#9 is right, Iron Man 2 is far superior to 3. I am genuinely baffled why people don't like it.

And yes, Equilibrium is a great movie, as was Alien 3.

One more for the list, Cutthroat Island from 1995. It basically caused the collapse of a production company but honestly I enjoy it. Oscar quality movie? God no but very entertaining.

Just watched Pacific Rim again recently. Sometimes you gotta just enjoy a movie for what it is, and movies that solely exist for the action/violence are great, imo, and they don't really make those anymore. Not every movie has to have some sort of 'meaning.'
